AI Processing and Your Data
Coherest uses AI models to classify, prioritize, and route incoming messages. This processing is performed through OpenRouter, and we aim to route requests to endpoints with Zero Data Retention (ZDR) whenever possible. When a ZDR endpoint is used, message content sent for AI processing is not stored or retained by OpenRouter or the underlying model providers after the request completes. At times, requests may be served by endpoints that do not offer ZDR. In those cases, the applicable model provider’s own privacy policy and data retention practices apply. In all cases, regardless of endpoint, your message content is never used to train AI models.
- OpenRouter (default routing layer): see OpenRouter’s Privacy Policy and privacy and logging documentation.
- Anthropic (Claude): see Anthropic’s Privacy Policy and Commercial Terms.
- OpenAI: see OpenAI’s Privacy Policy and API data usage policies.
- Google (Gemini): see Google’s Privacy Policy and the Gemini API Terms.
- xAI (Grok): see xAI’s Privacy Policy.
